Why is healing and understanding mental health so important? The answer is simple, your mental health is the key to physical health. You cannot have one and not the other. You mental health determines where you are physically. Most people who suffer with mental illness are usually overweight or underweight. Some tend to have bad eating habits such as; overeating more than your body needs, not eating at all because your brain cannot bring you to get out of bed, and binge eating , which in my opinion is the worst.
